VocaTranslate Support
Welcome to VocaTranslate support. We're here to help healthcare professionals get the most out of our HIPAA-compliant medical translation application.
Getting Help
For technical support, please email us at info@pacificdigitalventures.org with the following information:
- Your organization name
- Issue description (please be as detailed as possible)
- Device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iPad Air)
- iOS version (found in Settings → General → About)
- App version (found in VocaTranslate settings)
- When the issue occurred (date and time if applicable)
Common Issues
Login Problems
- Account locked: After 5 failed login attempts, accounts are permanently locked. Contact your administrator to unlock your account.
- First login: All new accounts require a password change on first login. Follow the on-screen prompts to create a secure password.
Translation Issues
- No internet connection: VocaTranslate requires an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) for translation services.
- Microphone access: Ensure VocaTranslate has microphone permissions enabled in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.
- Speech recognition: Speak clearly and at a normal pace. Background noise can affect recognition accuracy.
Session Timeout
- Sessions automatically timeout after 15 minutes of inactivity for security compliance.
- Simply log back in to resume. Your language settings are preserved.
